One Person Killed, Several Injured, in Three-Car Crash

Imagine being involved in a motor vehicle crash that left you seriously injured. Perhaps your injuries were so bad that you could never fully recover from them. This sounds like a horrible scenario, yet for many people involved in auto accidents in the Chicago area this scenario is all too real. Thousands of people are hurt every year in auto accidents and many of them are injured through no fault of their own.

One person was killed and several others were sent to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Chicago recently. The auto accident involved a Ford Mustang, an unidentified Chevy vehicle and an unidentified Nissan vehicle. According to reports, the cause of the crash has yet to be determined and investigators are still collecting information and details. However, officials do know that four people were riding in the Ford Mustang at the time of the crash. Three of those people were injured and admitted to the hospital. Their conditions were not reported. The fourth person riding in the Mustang was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, according to reports, there were at least two people who were riding in the Chevy vehicle at the time of the crash who were injured and taken to the hospital. Both of those individuals were listed in critical condition at the time of this report. Lastly, there were three people in the Nissan vehicle when the crash occurred. However, none of them received treatment. It is not yet known who was at fault for this crash or why it happened. However, if investigators eventually determine that one of the drivers was at fault then anyone who was injured could seek damages. Likewise, family members of the deceased could also seek damages.
