Wrong-Way Driver Causes Crash That Injures Three

02 September, 2015

When a person is seriously injured in an auto accident he or she can choose to seek compensation for his or her injuries, pain and suffering. When it’s easy to prove that someone acted negligently and caused another person’s injuries, filing a personal injury lawsuit makes a lot of sense. However, sometimes, when an accident victim’s injuries do not appear as severe a person might not think they have much of a case. In fact, in many instances, people in this situation might not even consider a personal injury claim or lawsuit. However, even if your injuries appear to be minor, it’s still a good idea to speak with an attorney to see if a lawsuit is in your best interest.

Several people were injured after a driver traveling in the wrong direction on an area freeway caused a car crash, recently. According to authorities, the victims were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries. None of the injuries were believed to be life threatening at the time of this report. The vehicle traveling in the wrong direction reportedly slammed into two other vehicles. Investigators did not know why the man was traveling in the wrong direction. At the time of this report, authorities had not issued any citations, but the investigation was still ongoing.

Even though the victims who were injured in this crash reportedly did not suffer serious injuries they could still consider speaking with a personal injury lawyer. Many times, when someone is hurt in an accident they might not think their injuries are bad enough to consider a lawsuit. However, sometimes injuries can get worse over time. Additionally, some injuries tend to linger a lot longer than people expect, and in some cases, people suffer other negative consequences, not originally diagnosed, that are directly related to their injuries.

Being hurt in an auto accident is never good and in many cases, the effects can get worse over time. It’s important to take your injuries seriously if you have been hurt in an accident. Don’t be quick to sign any release papers from an insurance company, even if you don’t think your injuries are that serious. Things can change and you could end up being hurt worse than you originally thought. Don’t let this kind of situation happen to you. Please contact the Law Offices of Michael T.
